You Had Me At Aloha

As usual, it's been awhile since I've written and a lot has happened.  First, Wesley is now 17 months!  I still can't believe it.  It feels like he was just born, but I really can't imagine a day without him.  Second, we moved to Hawaii - from the littlest state to the aloha state!

We made our cross-country move in April, survived 44 nights in a hotel room with a crazy toddler (thank goodness we live somewhere where we can be outside all the time!), and are now all settled in our spacious home!  We are loving Hawaii life.  We really are outside all of the time, Wes loves the water (thanks to the swim lessons we did together), he could play in the sand all day, and he wants to say hi to every dog, bird, and airplane along the way.  Since we've been in our house, we've had 4 visitors - our hotel is open!  It has been really nice to have our friends and family here because it is a little lonely moving.  We don't really have too many friends here yet.  And we really miss all of our RI friends.

As always, I'm going to try to be a bit more consistent with the blogging.  In the meantime, here's a review of our last few months:

It's not often these days that I get to nap with this boy, so I will cherish every single moment.

My heart could burst

About once a day I look at Wesley and feel like my heart could burst with how much I love him.  It's unreal.

Wearing his Great-Poppy's hat
4 months!
He loves his Sophie, but he loves those two fingers even more
Wes sandwich!  We liked it a lot more than him, I think.

My happy baby.  Continue melting, my heart.
